Garden Working Bee
Saturday 24 June 10am-12pm
vego lunch provided

If there’s an obvious example of things constantly changing moment by moment, it would have to be a garden and the Drol Kar gardens are no exception.

So, despite the success of the last garden working bee, we could still really use a small army on deck on June 24th from 10:00am - 12noon to continue with the ‘Basic Garden Housekeeping’ - trimming, raking, clearing leaves and fallen branches, weeding, dead-heading and tidying to restore order to the wilderness. We need people with tools and some energy to head into garden areas and restore order where there is chaos.

We have some tools on hand, but best to BYO gloves and garden tools - secateurs and line trimmers are especially welcome. Please consider helping out. As always, lunch and refreshments are provided and some good company is assured.

Have you ever wished you had the opportunity to spend time in a beautiful peaceful garden, listening to birdsong while working alongside other nature lovers like yourself, including our spiritual director the Venerable Geshe Sonam Thargye?

Well here's your chance!

We're looking for people who would love to spend time in the Drol Kar gardens to help take care of the place that we all find helps to lift our spirits whenever we visit. Weekly, monthly, a few times a year, whatever you're able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Just contact:

or phone 5266 1738
to let us know when you're available to help.
